a) before I was accountable to someone I got less shit done

So, how do you do this?
Find one person to help hold you accountable to what you need to do to move forward.
Set up your own system to help keep you accountable, because you will slip if left to your own devices.
So, to do this you should have your daily goals written down somewhere you can see them.
Then you can do something as simple as setting up calendar alerts on your phone throughout the day reminding you to stay on task. If you’re off task, these can help get you back on target.
